My name is Abigail Hart, and I've been an avid hunter since the age of 13. Over the years, my passion for hunting has only grown stronger, with a particular fondness for whitetail deer, running rabbit dogs, and exploring new territories. Recently, I've had the opportunity to take my hunting experiences out of state, including an incredible hog hunt behind dogs in Oklahoma and a thrilling bear hunt in New Mexico with another set of amazing dogs. These adventures have not only tested my skills but also deepened my appreciation for the great outdoors. Hunting has become an integral part of my life, and I feel fortunate to have had such amazing experiences.

After three years of meticulous scouting and preparation, I finally had the opportunity to harvest a beautiful 10-point buck on a plot of land I had been carefully managing. The experience was truly surreal, and I felt an overwhelming sense of pride and accomplishment. The journey leading up to the hunt was just as rewarding as the hunt itself, as I spent hours patterning the deer, studying their habits, and waiting for the perfect moment to strike. My perseverance ultimately paid off, and I was able to take down a magnificent buck. The memory of that hunt will stay with me forever.

What made the experience even more special was having my dad by my side for the recovery. He's not only my dad but also my mentor and inspiration. He's the one who taught me the ways of hunting and instilled in me a love and respect for nature. Together, we tracked the buck, and his guidance and expertise were invaluable. I'm grateful for the opportunity to share this experience with him and create yet another lifelong memory.

As I look to the future, I've set my sights on new hunting goals. One of my ultimate ambitions is to hunt in every state, experiencing the unique challenges and opportunities each one has to offer. At the top of my bucket list is an elk hunt – the prospect of pursuing these incredible creatures is absolutely thrilling. I'm excited to see where my hunting journey takes me next and to continue pursuing my passion for the sport.
