My name is Gabi Peake. I am a disabled professional fisherman, singer, wife, and mom of two amazing kids, born and raised in Oklahoma.
Fishing has been one of my greatest passions since I was five years old, when my PaPa handed me my first fishing pole. I still remember the thrill of catching my first fish, a bluegill, and knowing immediately that I wanted to do it again and again.
Over time, fishing became more difficult, and I eventually learned why. I was diagnosed with Lupus with Autonomic Dysfunction, a condition that has slowed and disrupted my body’s normal functions and has impacted five of my organs so far, including my heart, which led to a pacemaker.
Even so, I refuse to let it define what I can do. I’m on the water 2 to 6 days a week, and I love every second of it. I’m drawn to big fish and big challenges, and I work hard for every catch. One of my favorite days on the water was captured in my Mrs. February 2026 photo, when I landed four catfish in under 50 minutes and brought home some thick slabs.
Today, fishing is more than a passion. It is my platform. I want my kids and anyone watching my journey to know this: keep going. Hold onto what you love, fight for what makes you happy, and never give up on yourself.

Ladies In The Outdoors would like to thank our 2026 sponsor, Shaeff's Sauces, for making this possible! We truly appreciate your support. Check them out at www.scentarmor.com
